What We Ask For (and What We Don't)
To start a chat, we ask you to confirm your age. That's the whole list. No name field, no email box, no code texted to your phone. The table below splits things into what you need at the very start and what might come up later, if you choose to go further.
| Detail | To start chatting | Later, only if you choose |
|---|---|---|
| Your real name | Not asked | Not required for chatting |
| Email address | Not asked | May come up when you sign in to buy coins or keep account features |
| Phone number | Not asked | Only if the sign-in option you pick happens to use one |
| Profile, photo or bio | None exists | Still not needed; there are no public profiles |
| Age confirmation | Yes, before your first match | Nothing more |
| Camera and microphone | Only for voice or video, and your browser asks first | You can refuse and stay on text |
| Payment details | Never needed to start | Only at checkout, when you top up coins |
Why the list is this short
A chat can only call itself anonymous if the first steps collect nothing that points back to you. A name, an email and a phone number are the three things that do that most directly, so none of them sit between you and the first hello. What any website handles in the background, such as the connection itself, is described plainly in the privacy policy. We would rather you read it than take a slogan on trust.
